Trigger is excited to announce our Lifesize Configurator Prototype for the newly-released Samsung Gear VR headsets powered by Oculus.  We were honored to be selected by Qualcomm as one of a handful of developers to work on this exclusive project and to receive an advanced beta of the Vuforia SDK for Digital Eyewear.

Our demo prototype was featured in the keynote address at The Qualcomm Uplinq 2014 Mobile Developers Conference, a conference devoted to exploring the future of wireless technologies, as part of the public’s first viewing of this advanced technology that combines Augmented Reality with Virtual Reality.

To show off this impressive technology, we created an interactive app that puts you in the driver’s seat of a customizable, life-sized motorcycle appearing in AR with the advantages of VR.  By scanning a floor target, users are immersed in a world where changing the color of your bike is done through simple eye movements. Walk towards it and you activate an explosion of parts revealing the inner workings of the bike’s features.
